Lowcountry Buckeyes Meet and Greet

The Lowcountry Buckeyes held a reawakening Meet & Greet Wednesday, May 26th at Commonhouse Aleworks in North Charleston.  This was the first opportunity most of the attendees have had to get together with fellow Buckeyes in person for more than a year.  Commonhouse asked their customers to follow state & CDC recommendations.

Among the discussions were other upcoming club events including Lowcountry Buckeye night at the Riverdogs, June 11th; Tour of McLeod Plantation w/impact discussion following, June 27th; Craft Beer Appreciation night, July 14 at Hobcaw Brewing Co.

During the evening we met two new local Buckeyes and told them about our club, its’ activities and our mission of providing scholarship support to local students attending Ohio State.  They expressed great interest in joining our club & getting involved.  They also plan to tell their spouses, who are also Buckeye Alums.

An enjoyable evening for all and great expectations for our return to normal events.
