Blues Cruise Recap

The OSU Alumni Club hosted their 2017 “Blues & Bar-B-Que Cruise” Thursday evening, July 13th aboard the Carolina Queen on Charleston Harbor. Forty-one Buckeyes enjoyed Bar-B-Que pork and chicken with the customary side dishes, all accompanied by music from “Shrimp City Slim”.
Mother Nature cooperated, providing beautiful weather under blue skies with scattered clouds. While the day had been hot, it’s always cooler on the water and today was no different as temperatures were pleasant for a July Charleston evening.
Two officers and their guests from the new CSRA Alumni Club from Augusta, GA joined the Charleston Buckeyes for an evening of enjoyment. They had a chance to speak with many of the Charleston Board members to see how we operate.
As the sun set in the west, and the Carolina Queen settled into her berth at the Charleston Marina, everyone went their separate ways after another enjoyable Lowcountry Buckeye evening.
